Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Product Lead to drive the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of data and analytics products supporting key business segments. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, identifying opportunities to leverage data, analytics, and automation to improve decision making and business outcomes.

he individual will lead a portfolio of data and analytics products—including dashboards, reports, data products, and workflow solutions—through the full product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and requirements definition through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement. The role provides leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, guiding developers, engineers, and other technology partners to deliver scalable, governed, and business-aligned solutions. While primarily focused on product leadership, the individual may also contribute to solution design, prototyping, and development activities as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business segment lead for a portfolio of data and analytics products, acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners.
  • Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and priorities to support business objectives and maximize value delivery.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of data, analytics, reporting, and automation solutions, including dashboards, data products, and workflow applications.
  • Guide and influence cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, governed, and business-aligned solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption, measure outcomes, and continuously improve product capabilities and user experience.
  • Contribute to solution design, prototyping, and development activities as needed while maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 years’ experience with BI applications; decision support systems, query and reporting, online analytical processing, statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data.
  • At least 9 years’ experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.

Working knowledge of:

  • Business intelligence and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Workflow automation and low-code platforms (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Modern data and analytics platforms, including cloud-based and traditional data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Services, SQL Server).
  • Data modeling, semantic layer design, reporting, and analytics solution development.
  • Data governance, data quality, and information management practices.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
