About Fincons US

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer for a 4–6 month project supporting a major entertainment studio in Los Angeles. This role will focus on transforming raw data into clean, reliable, analytics-ready datasets that support studio distribution and licensing operations.

Candidates must have hands-on studio distribution and licensing domain experience. This is a key requirement for the position.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable data models and transformations using dbt and SQL.
Clean, transform, and organize complex datasets for analytics and reporting.
Work with distribution and licensing data, including content, rights, and related studio information.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
Identify and resolve data quality, consistency, and reliability issues.

Qualifications

Strong experience with dbt, SQL, data transformation, and data modeling.
Studio distribution and licensing domain experience is required.
Previous experience within a major studio or Media & Entertainment organization is strongly preferred.
Must be able to work onsite in Los Angeles four days per week.
