Job Description

Job Title: Data Entry / Sales Support Specialist (Aerospace) Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Customer Service Manager Location: Commerce, Onsite Duration: Temporary (3–6 months) with potential to extend Pay Rate: $24 – $32 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 9 hours per day Job Summary The Data Entry / Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and data support to the Customer Service and Sales teams. This role focuses on accurate order entry, quotation support, documentation, and maintaining customer and sales records within ERP and customer systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with data in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and maintain customer orders, quotations, and pricing data using ERP systems Assist with preparation and processing of customer quotes and proposals following established guidelines Enter, update, and track purchase orders (POs), RFQs, and sales documentation Maintain accurate sales records, spreadsheets, and reports Support Customer Service Representatives by ensuring data accuracy and completeness Register and navigate customer portals/websites for orders, changes, and RFQs Track order status and assist with shipment updates as needed Assist Accounting with documentation related to invoicing and Pro Forma invoices Identify and report data discrepancies or issues to appropriate internal teams Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company ethical and compliance standards Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate’s degree or coursework in business, administration, or a related field preferred 1–3 years of experience in data entry, sales support, customer service, or administrative roles preferred Skills & Competencies Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Familiarity with purchase orders, quotes, and sales documentation Experience using ERP systems preferred (AS400 / MAPICS a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional written and verbal communication skills KPG123
