Job Description

Position Title: Data Entry Specialist Pay Rate: $18.31/hour on W-2, paid weeklyLocation: 1950 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75207Start Date: ASAPContract Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time employeeWork Arrangement: Fully onsite, 5 days per weekPosition Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Specialist to perform high-volume data entry and processing tasks while maintaining a high level of speed and accuracy. The ideal candidate has strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and have their WPM and 10-key results clearly listed on their resume.Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Review, interpret, and process information according to established procedures and client instructions.
Navigate multiple systems and independently follow complex instructions.
Maintain productivity and accuracy while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Identify discrepancies and resolve data-related issues through critical thinking and problem-solving.
Handle information in accordance with applicable confidentiality requirements and HIPAA guidelines.
Adapt quickly to new processes, systems, and concepts.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM, with test results listed on the resume.
WPM and 10-key results must be included on the resume.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Skype for Business.
Ability to process complex data entry tasks accurately under tight deadlines.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work onsite five days per week in Dallas, TX.

Preferred Qualifications:

1–3 years of data entry experience.
Typing speed of 40–50 WPM or higher.
Proficiency in 10-key data entry by touch.
Familiarity with healthcare terminology.
General knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding, and modifier usage.
Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
Ability to learn new systems and processes independently.
