Job Description
Pay Rate: $18 per hour - $22 per hour
Summary:
- Shift Hours: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Read source documents and enter data in specific data fields accurately.
- Collect, compile, sort, and verify the data's accuracy or completeness before it is entered.
- Perform data integrity tasks by locating and correcting data entry errors or reporting them to supervisors.
- Scan or upload documents.
- Perform routine office/lab duties, such as answering phones and maintaining supplies.
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
- File completed documents in appropriate locations or distribute them, as required.
- Perform other related duties.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 year of data entry experience.
- Must type 45 wpm.
- Strong computer skills, will work simultaneously with different applications.
- Knowledge and previous experience working with Electronic Medical Records system.
- Previous experience from work in healthcare environment and knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Must be able to work at the office 100% time.
