Data Entry Specialist (Entry Level) - Temp To Hire

A growing beverage import and logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist to support its operations team. This role will begin as a temporary position with the potential to convert to a full-time hire based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and update product, shipment, and inventory data into company systems • Maintain and organize import documentation, shipping records, and inventory reports • Assist with order entry and purchase order processing • Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in records • Update spreadsheets and internal databases with shipment and warehouse information • Assist the operations team with inventory tracking and logistics documentation • Maintain digital files and records for compliance and reporting purposes • Communicate with internal departments regarding order status and data updates

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred • 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or operations • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy • Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience working with inventory systems, logistics platforms, or ERP software • Interest in supply chain, import/export, or operations management
