Are you detail-oriented and have a knack for working with engineering documentation? We are looking for someone like you to join our team in the vibrant city of Providence, RI. This temporary, part-time role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, allowing you to balance remote data management with in-office collaboration.

Job Overview

In this role, you will interpret engineering blueprints and technical reports, accurately coding and indexing them into our RedEye EDMS. You will ensure these technical assets are properly assigned metadata, version-controlled, and coded according to their file types and project specifications.

Requirements

1-2 years of data entry or document entry experience in an engineering, utility, or construction environment.
High School Diploma.
Proficiency with RedEye DMS or a comparable engineering data environment.
Strong comfort level with engineering file formats and productivity suites like Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu.
Technical literacy in reading and extracting data from architectural/MEP blueprints and engineering reports.
Familiarity with construction terminology, specifically HVAC, electrical schematics, and piping layouts.
Understanding of engineering document control fundamentals.

Preferences

Rapid and precise data entry skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Ability to liaise with project managers, CAD drafters, and engineers.
