Job Description
Kinetic Personnel Group is recruiting for a Data Entry Technician (temporary) for a $3-billion/year Public Health Plan in Orange County.
Job Duties:
Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.
Performs data entry of various documents, data sources and files.
Conducts outreach calls for data entry purposes as needed.
Alerts supervisor of any issues that impact production and quality.
Ensures all Protected Healthcare Information (PHI) is locked at the end of the day.
Assists in the preparation of the credentialing files, completes data entry and prepares files for review.
Responds to inquiries from providers and internal staff regarding credentialing status.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of data entry experience required with ICD-10/9, CPT or Healthcare Claim codes required.
Experience in a managed health care environment preferred.
Knowledge or background in provider data and/or credentialing and experience in a provider and/or credentialing system preferred.
This position will start out as a 6 month Temporary position. Pay range is $23-$30/hr (DOE). 100% on-site (in-office) and can go up in six months and will convert to a permanent position for the right candidate. A permanent position, does include excellent CalPERS pension, 401a (4% contribution), telecommute/remote options and excellent government benefits and Holiday/PTO schedule (year 1).
