Job Title: Data Governance Protection & Data ManagementDuration- Fulltime PermanentLocation:Charlotte, NC (Onsite from Day1)Job Description:Data Governance Protection & Data ManagementMust Have Technical/Functional Skills • Data Testing and Quality Assurance methodologies • Metadata quality validation • Data lineage and asset flow analysis • Data movement and control validation • Data quality controls and compliance checks • Understanding of data governance standards, policies, and controls • High-level understanding of database structures (tables, schemas, relationships) • Ability to analyze end-to-end data flows for reporting and analytics • Familiarity with collaborating across business, technology, and data teams • Strong documentation and communication skills Roles & Responsibilities • Perform testing and QA activities to ensure adherence to data standards and policies • Validate metadata accuracy, completeness, and consistency • Review and assess data asset flow lineage and data movement controls • Test data quality and control mechanisms across systems • Engage with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and clarify data expectations • Conduct regular discussions with business and technical managers to ensure alignment of data quality needs • Build and maintain strong working relationships with developers and analysts • Support data governance objectives by ensuring data used for reporting meets quality and control standards • Assist with technical analysis by understanding high-level database structures and data dependencies • Ensure end-to-end data requirements are met for the data quality and control executive function.
