Job Description
Primary Skills: Customer Data (advanced), Data Governance Policies (advanced), Metadata Management (intermediate), Data Lineage Tracking (intermediate), Data Privacy Compliance (advanced) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 8 Months Location: Pleasanton, CA - 94588 (#LI - Onsite) Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hr#LPJob Summary: This role focuses on enhancing the integrity and trustworthiness of customer data within a retail setting. You will be instrumental in establishing and upholding robust data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory adherence. Collaboration across various technical and business units will be key to achieving these objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and oversee the accuracy and completeness of customer datasets.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Manage and maintain data catalogs and lineage documentation.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
- Partner with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in data governance and quality initiatives.
- Solid understanding of customer data principles.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance requirements.
Domain / Industry Experience: Experience within the retail industry is required.
