About the OpportunityA leading financial services organization is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support a growing enterprise data and analytics platform.This role focuses on validating data quality, testing ETL workflows, and ensuring the reliability of enterprise data pipelines and reporting solutions. You'll work closely with data engineers, developers, business analysts, and product teams to verify that data is accurate, complete, and production-ready across a modern cloud-based data environment.This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong quality assurance fundamentals with advanced SQL skills and a passion for testing complex data platforms.What You'll Tackle:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Validate data throughout ETL processes and across multiple layers of an enterprise data platform.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Analyze source and target datasets to identify data discrepancies, transformation issues, and quality concerns.
- Validate data integrity, completeness, and consistency across enterprise reporting environments.
- Document, track, and manage defects while partnering with development teams to drive timely resolution.
- Support quality assurance efforts for enterprise dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
- Maintain testing documentation, traceability matrices, and regression test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall data quality and platform reliability.
- Five or more years of experience testing enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or large-scale analytics environments.
- Hands-on experience validating Databricks environments and enterprise data quality solutions.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), data reconciliation, and data validation techniques.
- Experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration workflows, or enterprise warehouse loads.
- Experience analyzing, cleansing, and validating large datasets.
- Experience developing structured test plans, regression test suites, and test documentation.
- Experience using Jira or similar test and defect management tools.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise data quality initiatives.
- Familiarity with Medallion Architecture or layered data platform designs.
- Experience validating dashboards, business intelligence reports, or analytics solutions.
- Experience using Confluence.
- Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms.
