Job Description

We have a 1-year, onsite, Data Reporting Programmer contract opportunity in Jackson, MS, with the possibility of a one-year extension. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible.

This project will support the agency in meeting federal reporting requirements. The current coding processes and reports cannot be validated and will need to be rewritten using current industry standards. In addition, all business rules and revisions must be thoroughly documented for the agency.

This is an individual contributor role functioning as a quantitative analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and maintaining statistical reporting models using R.

Minimum Qualifications

The contractor must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following:

Hands-on R programming, with a strong statistical background and understanding
Building and delivering robust statistical models
Development, back testing, deployment, and UAT
Delivering high-quality documentation and presentations to support and maintain model and library use
Collaborating with functional and technical consultants to ensure successful model development and deployment
R language and R Studio
SQL language and SQL Manager
R development/programming
SQL
ADABAS/Natural
Power BI
Agile methodology
Windows 7 and Windows 10 environments
Ability to work independently
