Data Warehouse & Custom App Developer

Position Description

We are a small, high-impact technology team seeking a versatile developer who can adapt as business needs evolve. This role requires the ability to operate across multiple domains, including data warehouse engineering with strong SQL expertise, ERP integration and customization, and C# web application development.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and customers, supporting and enhancing multiple ERP systems while ensuring our data warehouse and custom applications deliver accurate, secure, compliant, and auditable financial and operational data. Because our systems directly impact financial reporting and manufacturing operations, precision, testing discipline, and security awareness are non-negotiable.

Clear communication, ownership of your work, and a strong customer-service mindset are essential. You will be expected to design, build, test, secure, and support the solutions you deliver.  Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.  You’ll scope, design, and build towards the right solution.  You must have eagerness to leverage AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Data Warehousing using Azure technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong experience with:
• Microsoft Azure technologies
• Azure SQL
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Active Directory
• Proficiency in .Net framework including C#, Visual Studio, and Web API
• Solid understanding of relational databases and ETL concepts
• Ability to test, debug, validate and document your own work
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Customer-service mindset with clear communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
• Experience working within structured SDLC and release management processes
• Experience supporting systems in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical, or similar), with an understanding of controlled processes and audit readiness

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience in manufacturing environments and systems
• ERP experience (Epicor, SyteLine, a plus)
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure
• Familiarity with integrating GitHub tools into your development practices

• Familiarity with environmental promotion and change management best practices

Language Skills: • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.Reasoning Ability: • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical Demands:• Depending on the assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds.
