Key Responsibilities:Data profiling — Analyze and understand source systems to determine data availability, quality, and extraction logic.Data modeling — Design dimensional models and star schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.Data flow design — Produce clear, detailed mapping documents that translate business rules into technical specifications.SQL Server data mart development — Build and optimize tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes.Visual Studio database projects — Create and maintain database projects for versioned, repeatable deployments.GIT source control — Manage code changes, branching, and collaboration workflows.SSIS ETL development — Build, schedule, and monitor ETL packages to load data marts reliably and efficiently.Data validation testing — Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business rules.Dashboard/report creation (nicetohave) — Build basic dashboards or visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
