Job Description

Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Database Engineer to support the Next Generation Interceptor program within an Operations & Sustainment Product Support / Logistics team. This role focuses on development, maintenance, and enhancement of SLICwave Life Cycle, an enterprise relational database used for Integrated Product Support and logistics management in aerospace, defense, and manufacturing environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Logistics Product Data team to develop Logistics Support Analyses, Logistics Product Data, and Logistics Operational Risk Analyses for government deliverables.
  • Create and maintain catalog and provisioning data.
  • Interpret technical data packages and engineering drawings to ensure accurate product representation.
  • Generate and manage GEIA-STD-007 compliance reports.
  • Develop and maintain provisioning Bills of Materials to support Operations & Sustainment activities.
  • Work with hardware and software engineers to review system architecture inputs.
  • Ensure SLICwave accurately reflects supply chain, line-replaceable units, and field-spare requirements.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Experience as a Database Engineer supporting enterprise relational databases.
  • Experience with SLICwave Life Cycle or SLICwave LC.
  • Integrated Product Support, logistics, or product support experience.
  • Experience with Logistics Support Analysis, Logistics Product Data, or Logistics Operational Risk Analysis.
  • Experience with cataloging, provisioning, technical data packages, or engineering drawings.
  • Experience generating GEIA-STD-007 reports or provisioning Bills of Materials.
  • Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing logistics data experience.
