We are looking to hire an DATABASE INTEGRATION AND REPORTING SPECIALIST reporting to our Pittsburgh, PA office.The Database Integration and Reporting Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining operational, financial, and management reports utilizing data from a variety of databases included but not limited to the ERP system (Trimble Vista). This role will partner with operational divisions and shared services to deliver reports as well spearhead integrations and automate workflows to improve data sharing among teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports from the enterprise ERP system
- Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to extract and transform data
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and define data definitions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports
- Create dashboards and analytical visualizations using reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or ERP-native tools)
- Document report logic, data sources, and business rules
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or performance issues related to customized reports and dashboards
- Support ERP upgrades, enhancements, and data model changes as they relate to reporting
- Work with Corporate Accounting and IT to provide access to various modules of ERP and Project Management Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in ERP reporting, preferably with Viewpoint (Vista)
- Strong SQL Server experience (T-SQL, joins, aggregations, performance tuning)
- Ability to translate business requirements into accurate technical solutions
- High attention to detail and data integrity
- Experience in construction or electrical contracting environments is helpful
- Experience building dashboards and executive reporting in Power BI
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Stakeholder communication and collaboration
- Documentation and process discipline
- Ability to Prioritize requests and evaluate new needs.
