Job Description

Title: Database Security Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time Compensation Pay Range:$140000-$160000/yrs Description Responsible for developing and implementing architecture and engineering safeguards for consumer data. Collaborate with various teams to build security into initiatives related to data analytics and consumer programs. Ensure effective protection of data in both on-premises and cloud environments. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on cloud and database security fundamentals. Foster relationships with internal and external partners to enhance security measures. Key Responsibilities Develop and apply security and privacy best practices for projects involving consumer data. Collaborate with different teams to integrate security best practices into data platforms. Develop and deploy authentication and authorization best practices for consumer data management. Engineer data protection mechanisms for data at rest and in transit. Deploy security best practices for interface integrations between data sources and consumers. Audit user permissions and monitor risks to data stores. Qualifications Expert knowledge of a broad range of information security controls for data storage. Experience with container-based architectures and implementations. 5-8 years of cybersecurity experience with databases and cloud-based environments. Bachelor's degree in a computing-related discipline or relevant work experience.
