Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help keep operations running smoothly and contribute to team success.What You'll Do As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products throughout the facility safely.
- Loading and unloading trucks while adhering to scheduled inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Picking, packing, checking, and staging orders accurately using RF scanners or inventory systems.
- Stacking and storing materials in designated areas following inventory control procedures.
- Inspecting equipment before use, performing basic maintenance checks, and reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintaining accurate production records and completing necessary documentation.
- Following all safety protocols, reporting hazards, and addressing quality concerns.
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipment goals.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of forklift operating experience.
- Experience with RF scanners or inventory management systems preferred.
- Basic computer and math skills for record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
