Job Description
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (Hours will vary based on part‑time status)Compensation: $16–$18 per hour

Join a collaborative classroom team dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. Your work will directly support meaningful early learning experiences and positive family partnerships.
📚 Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center
- At least 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education or a related field
🛡️ Pre‑Employment Requirements
All candidates must successfully complete:
- Fingerprint background check
- Drug screening
- TB test
- Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) background check
- Proof of Hepatitis A vaccination
- Sex Offender Registry check
- CPR certification (may be obtained after permanent hire)
🧸 Key Responsibilities & Expectations
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum goals and individual child needs
- Maintain classroom schedules, lesson plans, and monthly calendars
- Observe and assess children’s development; contribute to portfolios and Missouri Accreditation documentation
- Assist with meal and snack routines, including preparation and cleanup
- Rotate toys, sensory materials, art supplies, and props to support learning themes
- Ensure a safe environment indoors and outdoors; maintain emergency supplies and required classroom documentation
- Create a warm, inclusive, and family‑friendly atmosphere
- Uphold licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
- Update bulletin boards and display children’s artwork regularly
- Clearly post menus, mission statements, calendars, and required documents
- Communicate with families daily and participate in scheduled conferences
- Maintain pediatric first aid, CPR, and other required certifications
- Safely lift and support children up to 30 pounds throughout the day
- Engage actively with children at their level—floor play, outdoor supervision, hands‑on activities
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Support center‑wide family events and activities
