Job Description
Daytime Chef
Society Coffee Bar is looking for a dependable and motivated Daytime Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistent food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Learn the full menu and maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
- Follow customer modifications, substitutions, and allergy notifications carefully
- Complete prep work, stocking, and cleaning duties throughout each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Communicate effectively with shift leads and front-of-house employees
- Follow all instructions and complete assigned shift checklists
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, café, or food-preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Willingness to assist wherever needed
