ABOUT US

Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) was established in May of 1981 by five visionary women with a desire to provide quality, accessible health care for farm and migrant workers. Today, our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQCH) provides comprehensive primary care to underserved communities in Pasco, Kennewick and Richland. TCCH offers a medical home with wraparound services that include dental, behavioral health, optometry, pharmacy and endocrinology. We care for the whole patient and provide social services and special programs (WIC & Maternal Support Services) to further support our patients' health and well-being.

OPPORTUNITY

TCCH is growing and seeking to add Internal Medicine physicians to join our clinic teams. Our IM physicians provide comprehensive medical services to adult patients with a special emphasis on older adults and treatment of chronic conditions. Outpatient care only, although TCCH will support applications to local hospitals for clinical privileges. We are in search of motivated, energetic physicians with a mission-driven outlook and a desire to contribute positively to the lives of our patients rendering high-quality health care services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing, to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff, to deliver coordinated and patient-centered care.
  • Educate patients and their families about preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies to promote overall health and wellness.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient charts, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and peer review activities to enhance the delivery of healthcare services and promote patient safety.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Completion of M.D. or D.O. degree from fully accredited medical school.
  • Completion of residency program in the specialty.
  • Board Certified (preferred) / Board Eligible (if recent residency graduate).
  • Current license to practice and DEA.
