On-call obligation requiredMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009)Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical TechnologistMust have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Ability to function independently within established protocols

Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RNSound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentiality

Proficient computer and keyboarding skillsSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:BCLS CertificationCertification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C)
