Dealership Compliance/Billing Specialist

Summary:

The automotive deal compliance/billing specialist is responsible for processing all vehicle sales and related activities. The specialist will make use of the automated dealer management system to process the vehicle sales transactions so that accounting is as current as possible.

Essential Duties:

• Post car deals to accounting to record sale in general ledger
• Receipt deposit and down payments monies when applicable
• File all copies of receipts in the deal - check receipts far any cash transactions over $10,000.00 and report to Controller
• Verify that all information posted to F&I is correct
• Pull all information requested from Bank when needed
• Payoff floor plan units
• Verify the cost of the sale for each vehicle by checking the appropriate schedule
• Input and reconcile salesperson commission sheets
• Reconcile physical vehicle inventories to accounting

Qualifications:

• Two to four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Dealership accounting, billing or warranty experience required
• Ability to balance and reconcile financial transactions
• Proficient in all Microsoft programs; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills
• Self-starter with high level of initiative and ability to work in a team
