This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

  • Scope, manage, and deliver complex analytics projects while identifying new opportunities to enhance audience strategy, customer engagement, and marketing performance.

Advanced Analytics & Data Science Execution

  • Conduct robust quantitative analyses (descriptive analytics, hypothesis testing, causal inference) and maintain well‑documented analytical code in SQL, Python, and R to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple sources.
  • Evaluate and optimize audience and communication strategies by identifying performance drivers, improvement opportunities, and ensuring accurate, consistent management of the audience catalog aligned to business goals.

Insight Delivery & Influence

  • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations and compelling narratives through dashboards, reports, and executive‑level presentations tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 or more years applying analytical and statistical techniques to business questions
  • 1 or more years leveraging advanced data and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI/Looker)
  • 1 or more years of experience conducting statistical significance testing
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Business)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 or more years in Marketing, Advertising, CRM, or audience analytics
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross‑functional partners and shaping business decisions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex analyses into impactful recommendations
  • Advanced relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management capabilities
