Deli Clerk | Piggly Wiggly
The Role: Fresh Food, Fast Service, Friendly FacesAre you an enthusiastic foodie who thrives in a fast-paced environment? As a Deli Clerk at Piggly Wiggly, you are the face of our freshest department. You'll be responsible for crafting perfect sandwiches, slicing premium meats and cheeses, and ensuring our hot cases are stocked with delicious meals. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service to every guest at the deli counter.
- Order Preparation: Accurately prepare custom orders, including slicing meats and cheeses to guest specifications and preparing hot food items.
- Equipment Mastery: Safely and efficiently operate deli equipment, including:
- Meat & Cheese Slicers: For precision cuts and portioning.
- Digital Scales: For accurate pricing and labeling of products.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a spotless work area at all times, adhering to all store standards and food safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with your teammates to meet department goals and handle busy rush periods with ease.
