Job Description

Delivery DriverLooking for a driving job with consistent hours and the opportunity to work with customers throughout the day? Penmac Staffing is hiring a Delivery Driver for a wholesale distribution company in the Harrison, AR area. This is a full-time position for dependable individuals who enjoy being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.Requirements for the Delivery Driver

Valid driver's license
Acceptable driving record
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow delivery schedules and directions
Good communication and customer service skills
Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

Safely operate a company delivery vehicle along assigned routes
Load, transport, and deliver products to customers
Verify orders and ensure deliveries are accurate
Assist with loading and unloading merchandise
Obtain delivery confirmations and complete required paperwork
Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Follow company procedures and all traffic and safety regulations
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle
Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements for the Delivery Driver

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
Ability to frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle
Ability to load and unload products as needed
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting requirements established by the employer

Schedule and Pay

Full-time
Monday through Friday schedule
Shift: Days
Overtime as needed
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
