Delivery Driver Box TruckLocation:Tulsa, OKShift:MondayFriday | 5:00 AM 5:00 PMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125923Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking a reliable and physically capable Delivery Driver Box Truck to join a distribution team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers while providing professional service and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.This is a physically demanding driving position involving the frequent loading and unloading of tires and other heavy products. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, is comfortable operating a box truck, and enjoys a combination of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on physical work.Required Experience & Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Box truck driving experience preferred Ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy items, including tires Strong time-management and organizational skills Ability to safely load, unload, and transport products Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Basic paperwork and documentation skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Ability to follow established routes, schedules, and delivery procedures Strong commitment to safe driving and material-handling practicesEssential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck in accordance with traffic laws and company policies Make scheduled deliveries to customer locations throughout assigned routes Load products and tires into the delivery vehicle before departure Safely unload and deliver products at customer locations Perform frequent heavy lifting throughout the workday Verify delivery paperwork, products, and quantities for accuracy Organize deliveries and routes to meet scheduled timelines Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Identify and report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns Communicate delivery delays, customer concerns, or route issues to management Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area Follow all company safety procedures and proper lifting practicesPreferred Qualifications Previous box truck driving experience Local route delivery experience Tire distribution or automotive industry experience Warehouse or material-handling experience Experience loading and unloading commercial delivery vehicles Previous customer-facing delivery experiencePhysical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy products and tires Frequent loading and unloading throughout the workday Ability to safely enter and exit a box truck repeatedly during delivery routes Extended periods of driving combined with frequent physical activity Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout an extended shiftWork Environment Combination of local driving, warehouse activities, and customer delivery locations Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent handling and movement of tires and other heavy products Extended periods of driving followed by repetitive loading and unloading Customer-facing position requiring professional communication and dependable service Safety-focused environment requiring responsible driving and proper material-handling techniquesWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Consistent MondayFriday schedule Local box truck delivery work Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Combination of driving and hands-on physical responsibilities Opportunity to build commercial box truck and route delivery experience Gain experience in distribution, logistics, customer service, and material handling Great fit for dependable drivers who prefer an active job rather than spending the entire day behind the wheelReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel Tulsa Skilled Division1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120MondayFriday | 8 AM 4 PM
