This position is responsible for making local deliveries of produce and food products using a 26-foot box truck while also assisting with loading, unloading, order preparation, and warehouse operations.The ideal candidate has previous box truck and route delivery experience, a strong driving record, and the ability to provide professional customer service while handling physically active delivery responsibilities throughout the day.Required Experience & Skills• Minimum 1 year of box truck driving experience required• Must be comfortable operating a 26-foot box truck• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record• Previous delivery or route driving experience• Ability to safely load, unload, and move products throughout the workday• Strong attention to order and quantity accuracy• Professional communication and customer service skills• Dependable attendance and punctuality• Ability to work independently while following established delivery routes and procedures• Comfortable working a variable end time based on completion of the daily routeEssential Duties & Responsibilities• Operate a 26-foot box truck on local delivery routes throughout the Oklahoma City area• Deliver produce and food products safely and efficiently to customer locations• Load and unload products at delivery stops• Verify orders, products, and quantities before completing deliveries• Complete required delivery paperwork accurately• Obtain customer signatures and delivery confirmation as required• Provide professional and courteous customer service at each location• Safely handle and organize products throughout the delivery process• Communicate delivery issues, discrepancies, or customer concerns to appropriate personnel• Maintain a clean and organized truck throughout the workday• Follow all company driving, delivery, food handling, and workplace safety proceduresWarehouse Responsibilities• Pull and prepare customer orders for delivery• Stage completed orders for scheduled routes• Organize products and materials within the warehouse• Assist with loading delivery vehicles• Help maintain clean and organized warehouse areas• Support additional warehouse and distribution duties as neededDelivery LocationsDrivers may make deliveries to a variety of customer locations, including:• Schools• Retail stores• Tribal facilities• Prisons and correctional facilities• Commercial and institutional customer locations• Other local delivery destinations as assignedCandidates must be comfortable making professional deliveries to all assigned customer locations.Preferred Qualifications• Previous food or produce delivery experience• Local route driving experience• Warehouse or distribution experience• Experience loading and unloading commercial delivery vehicles• Previous customer-facing delivery experience• Familiarity with delivery paperwork and route documentationPhysical Requirements• Ability to load, unload, lift, carry, and move products repeatedly throughout the workday• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling• Ability to safely enter and exit a 26-foot box truck throughout the route• Comfortable performing physically demanding delivery and warehouse work• Ability to remain active throughout a variable-length shift until assigned deliveries are completedWork Environment• Combination of local delivery driving and warehouse operations• Early-morning 5:30 AM start time• Daily finish time varies depending on route and workload• Regular loading and unloading of produce and food products• Frequent interaction with customers at schools, retail stores, tribal facilities, correctional facilities, and other locations• Team-oriented distribution environment focused on safety, accuracy, and dependable customer serviceWhy You'll Want This Opportunity• Starting pay of $16.00/hour• Stable Monday–Friday schedule• Local delivery routes• Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity• Combination of driving and warehouse responsibilities• Opportunity to build commercial box truck and route delivery experience• Gain valuable experience in food distribution, order fulfillment, and customer service• Excellent opportunity for dependable drivers looking for consistent local workReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 405-367-3076 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel – Oklahoma City3625 S.
