Demand (Requirement) Management Consultant

Title: IT Demand Management AnalystOffice Status: In-OfficePay Rate: $50Contract Length: Not specifiedABOUT THE ROLEA financial services organization is seeking an IT Demand Management professional to establish and manage a structured process for capturing, evaluating, prioritizing, and tracking technology requests. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior leadership to ensure requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business priorities and available IT capacity. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and requirements-management skills with banking experience and professional Mandarin fluency.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and implement standardized demand management processes covering intake, assessment, prioritization, and tracking.
• Partner with business units and technology teams to gather, clarify, and refine requirements before projects begin.
• Manage the end-to-end demand pipeline and maintain visibility into priorities, capacity, and status.
• Develop and maintain demand management templates, standards, documentation, and governance checkpoints.
• Prepare reporting, dashboards, and presentation materials for IT governance meetings and management reviews.
• Ensure requirements documentation is complete, accurate, consistent, and traceable.
• Track demand backlog, provide regular status updates, and identify potential issues or bottlenecks.
• Support requirements gathering and development of business requirements documentation (BRDs).
• Drive process improvements and digitalization through workflow automation and technology-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate effectively across business, IT, and senior stakeholders throughout the demand lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Demand Management, IT Project Management, or a related function.
• Professional Mandarin-speaking ability is required.
• Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Experience developing BRDs or similar requirements documentation.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies;Waterfall experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
• PMP, CBAP, or similar certification is a plus.
