Job Title: Demand Planner

The Demand Planner is responsible for increasing the transparency of the medium-term development of demand within Doehler North America and improving forecast accuracy and processing customer orders efficiently and on time taking into account cost-optimized production and customer requirements into account.

Your Responsibilities:

Adhering to the approved budget and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the line manager.
Continuously standardizing and optimizing processes and organizational structures and initiating corresponding measures.
Defining, implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
Implementing and maintaining OEDM standards (e.g. 5S; standardised work).
Monitoring medium-term changes in demand/trend recognition (raw materials and final products).
Continuously optimizing of the system environment.
Checking material and raw material availability and production capacities in accordance with incoming customer orders.
Conduct S&OP calls with relevant stakeholders.
Review upcoming pipeline, project launch dates, orders vs forecast an a regular basis with sales.

Your Profile:

Completed commercial apprenticeship and/or degree in Business Administration/Economics
3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting role for the supply chain and Production environment
excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 and common analysis and evaluation tools
