Job Description
Smile Jobs is partnering with dental offices in the Atlanta Metro area to identify an Area Manager to support continued expansion and operational excellence. This role is responsible for driving performance across multiple practices, scaling best-in-class operations, and supporting sustainable growth through strong leadership, culture, and financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Practice Administrators and leadership teams across assigned locations to drive growth, accountability, and results
- Execute growth initiatives focused on revenue optimization, patient acquisition, and operational efficiency
- Partner closely with clinical leadership to scale consistent workflows and support provider productivity
- Own regional performance metrics, including revenue, KPIs, labor, and profitability, and implement action plans to exceed targets
- Support new practice onboarding, acquisitions, and expansion efforts within the region
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders to build a strong bench for future growth
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across all locations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dental or healthcare operations with multi-site leadership responsibility
- Strong track record of driving growth, improving performance metrics, and leading change
- Financially savvy with hands-on experience managing P&L, budgets, and KPIs
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Dentrix or similar practice management systems preferred
