-One (1) - two (2) years of dental assisting experience required. -Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials. -Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience: -EFDA experience.

Required Education: -Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program. OR -Six months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.

Required Certifications & Licensure: -Six (6) hour x-ray training certification. -CPR card.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -Nitrous oxide certification; Coronal polishing certification.

Required Education: -High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education:

Required Certifications & Licensure: -CPR Certification. -EFDA.

Job Responsibilities: -Place and finish dental restorations(fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth. -Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models. -Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges. -Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments. -Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed. -Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments. -Take and process radiographs. -Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards. -Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients. -Charts treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records. -Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures. -Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed.
