Job Description

Grass Valley Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team!

What You'll Do

  1. Patient Care & Preparation: Greet and seat patients, review medical histories, and help them feel comfortable before treatment.
  2. Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, managing suction, and ensuring efficient patient care.
  3. Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain the highest standards of safety by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and treatment areas in line with OSHA and CDC protocols.
  4. Radiographs (X-rays): Capture and process dental radiographs as directed by the dentist.
  5. Charting & Documentation: Record treatment details, procedures, and patient notes accurately in the dental software.
  6. Inventory & Supplies: Monitor and restock materials and supplies to keep the back office running smoothly.
  7. Team Support: Pitch in with front office duties when needed-because teamwork and flexibility are key to our success.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Infection Control Certificate and Dental Practice Act.

Preferred:

  • Valid X-ray license
