Part-Time Dental Assistant
Join a Patient-Centered, Airway-Focused Practice in Park Ridge
Beyond Smiles of Park Ridge is looking for a warm, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our privately owned, relationship-based dental practice.
We believe dentistry is about more than teeth. Our team focuses on whole-person health, airway and breathing, prevention, education, and creating an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, and airway-focused procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready for each patient.
- Assist with digital radiographs, photographs, intraoral scanning, CBCT imaging, and other clinical records based on training and experience.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control procedures.
- Turn over treatment rooms efficiently and keep clinical areas clean and organized.
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits.
- Support laboratory case tracking, supply organization, and inventory management.
- Communicate clearly with doctors, hygienists, administrative team members, and patients.
- Assist the team with end-of-day clinical responsibilities.

- Dental assisting experience is appreciated, but we are also open to meeting an enthusiastic candidate who is eager to learn and become part of a supportive team.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position working two to three days per week.
Available days and hours include:
- Monday: approximately 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: approximately 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: approximately 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
The daily start time is adjustable and can be discussed based on the candidate’s availability and the needs of the practice.
Compensation: Starting compensation is $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus eligibility for our monthly team bonus program.
