The Dental Assistant

• Assists dentist in delivery of patient care.

• Organizes dental clinic equipment and materials.

• Coordinates operating room cases and assists staff dentists.

• Enhances professional development through participating in in-services and continuing education programs.

• Communicates with physicians, dentists, nursing staff, and ancillary hospital personnel, patients and patients’ families.

What We Require:

Education: High school or equivalent.Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Virginia Dental Radiation Safety certificate; AHA BLS-HCP required.Other Minimum Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
