Job SummaryWe are seeking a part-time dental assistant, with the potential for the position to become full-time in the future.The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist, sterilizing and preparing instruments, taking patient x-rays, and performing other administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Must be bilingual, fluent in both ENGLISH AND SPANISH (SPANISH IS A MUST)
Days and hours: Mondays and Thursdays, 9AM-5:30PM, and Saturdays 8AM-3:30PM(as needed)Compensation based on experience, starting payrate $21 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain patient records and update patient information
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Prepare patients for treatment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Take and process X-rays
- Keep the dental office clean and organized
- Ensure infection control and maintain a clean workspace
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental assistant (1-2 years)
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
