Dental Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a Dental Assistant with general dentistry experience to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to our patients at our offices: Complete Dental Arts and Fayette Dental Group, located in Thomas Crossroads and Fayetteville, respectively. This position is co-located in Fayetteville and Newnan. Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures.- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.- Assist the dental professionals during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.- Take and develop dental x-rays.- Record patient information, including medical history and treatment plans.- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records. Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant work experience.- X-ray certification preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.- General dentistry experience required.
