Job Description
Dental Assistant (DA)
Location: Guilford
Salary Range: $23–$26 per hour.
Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 7:30am–4:30pm.
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am–6:30pm.
- Flexible to an 8:00am start time if needed.
Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their established practice in Guilford, CT. This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of experience, though the practice is open to training a newer DA who is eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures.
- Prepare and break down operatories.
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout appointments.
- Support overall clinical efficiency and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred (open to newer DAs).
- RHS (Radiation Health & Safety) certification required.
- ICE (Infection Control Exam) certification required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
