Luma Pediatric Dental is a brand-new pediatric dental practice opening in Howell, NJ. We are building something special — a warm, light-filled, family-centered space where children feel safe, parents feel heard, and our team feels valued.

This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team of a startup pediatric dental practice and help shape the culture of a welcoming, supportive office from day one.

No pediatric dental experience required.

We are happy to train the right person who is kind, dependable, and excited to learn. Many excellent pediatric dental assistants start without pediatric experience — what matters most is patience, compassion, and a positive attitude with children.

Position Details

Location: Howell, NJ

Schedule: Part-time initially with opportunity to transition to full-time as the practice grows

Compensation: $20–$30 per hour depending on experience

Because we are a startup practice, the schedule will build gradually. This allows time for training and learning our systems while we grow together.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during pediatric dental procedures
• Taking dental radiographs
• Patient charting and documentation
• Sterilization and infection control
• Preparing and turning over operatories
• Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Helping create a welcoming and positive experience for children and families
