Dental Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure efficient, quality patient care. Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.- X-ray certification preferred.- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.- Attention to detail and organizational skills. Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials.- Take and develop dental x-rays.- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.- Maintain accurate patient records.- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.- Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans.- Perform office tasks as needed to support the dental office operations.
