About the Role
We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants for temporary assignments throughout the Westchester area. This is a great opportunity for dental professionals looking for flexible work, extra shifts, or short-term assignments while maintaining control over their schedules.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by applicable requirements
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside assistance
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Follow infection-control, safety, and OSHA standards
- Provide patients with a welcoming, professional experience
- Support the dental team with daily clinical and administrative needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience required
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and clinical protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including Monday–Sunday shifts
- Relevant certifications/credentials preferred where applicable
