Responsibilities
As a key member of our clinical team, you will:
- Provide exceptional four-handed chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for patient care
- Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, positive experience
- Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Assist with restorative, surgical, cosmetic, and endodontic procedures
- Perform instrument sterilization and maintain OSHA and CDC compliance standards
- Take impressions and assist with laboratory procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
Required
- Active Dental Assistant certification as required by the State of Florida
- Current Radiology/X-Ray Certification
- Prior Dental Assisting experience
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Preferred
- RDA, EFDA, or Expanded Functions certification
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental software
Experience in a fast-paced private practice setting
