Job Title: Dental Assistant - General DentistryCompany: Robinwood DentalLocation: Hagerstown, MDJob Type: Part-TimePay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on qualifications)Job Summary:Robinwood Dental is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support our busy general dentistry practice. The Dental Assistant plays a key role in providing an organized, efficient, and welcoming experience for patients while supporting clinical operations and delivering exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms before and after patient appointments- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures- Take and process dental X-rays- Complete patient documentation accurately and in a timely manner- Discuss treatment plans and follow-up care with patients- Attend team and office meetings as required- Collaborate effectively with dental team members to ensure excellent patient care and efficient daily operations- Maintain positive working relationships with patients and colleagues
Required Qualifications:- Organized and detail-oriented- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Ability to maintain a professional and positive presence in the workplace- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others as needed- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:- Dental Radiology Certification (or willingness to enroll in a radiology course)- Qualified Dental Assistant licensure, or currently in the process of obtaining licensure
