Mentor Smiles | Mentor, OH | Dental Assistant | Full Time
At Mentor Smiles, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding clinical care and an excellent patient experience.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative work, crown and bridge, extractions, and Invisalign
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Prepare and maintain dental materials and instruments
- Record treatment notes and accurately update patient charts
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain infection control standards and follow all safety protocols
- Stock and organize clinical supplies
- Support smooth daily operations and patient flow
- Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Current radiology certification required
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or other dental software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
