Job Description
Experienced Chairside Dental Assistant
Tarpon Dental | Full-Time - 32 hours
We are a patient-focused, quality-driven Privately owned dental practice seeking an experienced Chairside Dental Assistant who enjoys being an active part of patient care, treatment planning, and case acceptance.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and comfortable supporting both the doctor and patients through the treatment process.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide skilled four-handed chairside assisting.
- Anticipate the doctor’s needs and help maintain smooth clinical flow.
- Support treatment plan presentation.
- Reinforce recommendations and help patients feel confident moving forward with care.
- Play an active role in treatment acceptance.
- Communicate clearly with patients and the front office.
- Maintain organized operatories and respect all equipment and systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Phone skills.
- Comfortable discussing treatment and answering patient questions.
- Calm, professional, team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable, accountable, and motivated to grow.
- EFDA or advanced experience a plus (not required).
Compensation & Schedule:
- $22–$30/hour, based on experience.
- Full-time (approximately 32 hours/week).
