Part-Time Hygiene Assistant / Dental Assistant

Salt Flats Dentistry is seeking a part-time Hygiene Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing team immediately at our Herriman location.
This role is ideal for a Dental Assistant who enjoys supporting the hygiene department, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a modern, team-centered private practice. As patient demand continues to grow, this position is expected to become full-time within approximately 90 days.
Schedule
Tuesdays: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PMThursdays: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Hygienist with patient care and operatory flow
- Set up and break down hygiene operatories
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Help keep the hygiene schedule running smoothly and efficiently
- Support the clinical team as needed to ensure a great patient experience
Ideal Candidate

- Experienced as a Dental Assistant or Hygiene Assistant
- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
- Organized and efficient in a busy clinical setting
- Committed to delivering excellent patient care

Qualifications Preferred
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Current X-ray certification preferred
- Strong communication skills
