Position Overview
This person assists in the provision of primary and comprehensive dental care as a member of a team of dental professionals. This person performs the duties of an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, Dental Assistant as well as some limited clerical duties at the site. Priority is given to those duties approved for licensure as an EFDA. Employee also performs general duties deemed appropriate by the Practice Manager, Regional Director or Dentist.

Compensation
Position starts at $23.00 per hour for EFDA certified, however, PHN recognizes licensure, experience, education and site location when determining wage.
Location and Hours of Position
PHN New Castle Dental Center 2807 Wilmington Road New Castle PA
Hours (not to exceed 40 hours per week)
Monday 8:30am- 5:00pm
Tuesday 8:30am- 5:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am- 5:00pm
Thursday 8:30am- 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am- 2:00pm
NO WEEKENDS
Education/Experience Requirements
- Graduate of an approved DA program OR Over 1 year of experience as a DA
- Certification in Radiology or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Technological proficiency
- Flexible and Motivated within the workplace.
