  • Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction that aligns with established course objectives and institutional standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage instructional equipment, materials, and learning spaces to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and submit grades promptly in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Follow detailed lesson plans and syllabi to achieve instructional goals and learning outcomes effectively.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and academic guidance to support student success and retention.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and training activities to stay current with industry and instructional best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
  • Report any incidents, concerns, or compliance issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation standards in all aspects of instruction and program delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the program's operational and academic objectives.
  • Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
  • Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in the dental field or instructional experience, with a preference for candidates demonstrating both.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to fostering student success and academic excellence.
  • Ability to create a structured, compliant, and engaging learning environment that aligns with institutional and accreditation standards.
