Job Description
Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class healthcare organization in Cleveland, OH to hire a Dental Assistant for a busy Pediatric Dentistry Clinic. This is a first shift opportunity with a starting pay rate of $19.41/hour. This opportunity focuses on providing exceptional support to dentists, residents, dental students, and young patients while helping create a positive and comfortable experience for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during exams, cleanings, restorations, endodontic, surgical, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies for daily patient care.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards.
- Educate patients and parents/guardians regarding oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
- Coordinate patient flow, appointments, dental records, radiographs, and treatment documentation.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with front desk coverage as needed.
- Monitor and maintain dental instrument and supply inventory.
- Support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience.
- Dental Assistant, Current Radiology, and Current CPR Certifications
- Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, sterilization procedures, and infection control practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience working with dental software systems (Axium preferred).
- Ability to work in a clinical environment.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Hepatitis B vaccination and annual TB testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric dentistry experience.
- Insurance verification and patient scheduling experience.
- Inventory management and supply ordering experience.
