Dental / Orthodontic Assistant (Full-Time)$1,200 Sign-On Bonus | $24-$28/hr | Albany, NY

Pediatric Dentistry of Albany is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Pay & Perks:
- $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
- Full-time - Monday through Friday
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may vary slightly)
- Location: In-person role at our Albany, NY office
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during exams and procedures (chairside support)
- Take dental X-rays and support hygiene appointments
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Set up and clean operatories, manage supply inventory
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
- Educate, comfort, and engage pediatric patients during their visit
- Assist with front office duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of dental or orthodontic assistant experience, OR Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
- X-ray license preferred
- Pediatric dental experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Familiarity with dental charting and treatment planning
- Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor-especially with kids
- Willingness to relocate to Albany, NY if not local
